Santa arrived on schedule Wednesday night at the Oliver Community Centre to hear first hand what is desired in the way of presents for December 25.
Oliver Parks and Recreation put on a great show of fireworks, outdoor fire, fire trucks, hot chocolate, popcorn and much more in the way of hay rides and choral singing. Enjoyed by hundreds of children and parents too.
The annual Light Up around town is a week long affair with shopping events at the Mall this weekend.
